Emperador Marble Fireplace Surround – Dark Brown Modern Mantel, 50 to 72 Inch

A warm, timeless marble fireplace surround in Dark Emperador marble: a rich chocolate-brown stone with fine gold, cream and white veining. The flat face is finished with a slim raised inner border that frames the fire.

The clean lines suit modern, transitional and classic living rooms alike, and the deep brown tone pairs beautifully with white built-ins, black fireplace inserts and warm wood.

Optional hearth (additional cost)

The matching Emperador marble hearth shown in the installation photos is not included in the price. It can be added as an optional upgrade. Typical sizes: 50"–76" wide × 10"–20" deep × 1.5"–4" high. Contact us with the width and depth you need for a quote.

Custom sizes

Every surround is made to order. Send us your firebox opening and wall width through our Request a Quote form. We prepare a dimensioned drawing in inches for your approval before any stone is cut.

About the stone

Emperador is a natural marble. Colour, veining and pattern change from slab to slab, so your piece will be one of a kind.

All photos are real: the surround installed in a recently completed home, and the same design in our workshop.

Installation & care

Fitted to the wall with stone adhesive and mechanical anchors, like any marble surround. We recommend a local stone installer or contractor. Clean with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic cleaners. Seal once a year.
